In the Historic Old Northeast and surrounding neighborhoods, there are a series of free Small Libraries. These Small Libraries can have a variety of shapes and sizes but most commonly they look like a small wooden box on a stand. These boxes are intended to be a place for those passing by to either drop off a book or pick out a book. With these Small Free Libraries, it gives residents of the Historic Old Northeast a way to share a book that they love with the community.
Below is an interactive map detailing the locations of the Free Libraries in the Historic Old Northeast, as well as a few from our neighboring communities.
If you know of a Free Library near you that isn’t on our list feel free to reach out to us and we’ll get it updated.
