Neighborhood Monuments and Markers Getting a Fresh Facelift

The “wishing well” monuments and headstone markers are the calling cards of the Old Northeast. They identify and set the tone for our neighborhood. They are also long overdue for a facelift! The HONNA Beautification Committee has taken up the challenge. They are cleaning and painting them with fresh colors that coordinate with our popular “Preserve the Historic Old Northeast” banners for sale on honna.org. The monuments will also be rewired to shine at night and planted with new landscaping.
