HONNA Tree Canopy Project

One of the enduring characteristics of the Historic Old Northeast that people pointed to when our Neighborhood Plan was in development is the mature tree canopy, which provides beauty, shade, ecological impact and shelter for wildlife. The HONNA Board allocated funds to purchase and plant 15 30 gallon, 8 foot specimens this Spring 2015 in order to keep our canopy intact and growing! If you notice avenues and streets with gaps in the canopy, contact Susan Rebillot, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Newly planted trees will require some neighborly help with watering in until they are established.
